Grace Fearn

Ballet (Levels 1 & 2)

Grace Fearn received her ballet training from the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) in Mexico City, Mexico. Upon graduation from the INBA, Mrs. Fearn joined the National Ballet Company of Mexico under the direction of Fernando Alonso. During her professional career, she performed pas de deux in many productions including Esmeralda, Raymonda, The Sleeping Beauty, The Genzano Flower Festival, and Paquita. A diversely talented dancer, Mrs. Fearn has also performed in Broadway-style productions like Aida, Evita, Cats, and Phantom of the Opera.


Prior to moving to San Diego, Mrs. Fearn was the Artistic Director and lead teacher of the Sergio Franco Academy of Classical Ballet in Chihuahua, Mexico. She has studied the Royal Academy of Dancing system having completed the elementary, intermediate, and advanced stages. She has also spent the past summer studying Cuban ballet methodology in Havana, Cuba. For the last fifteen years, Mrs. Fearn has been teaching classical ballet to the students of San Diego City Ballet School in Pacific Beach under the direction of Steven and Elizabeth Wistrich. She also researches and choreographs international dances for the Lakeside Union School District’s International Fair. Recently, she trained one of the lead dancers in the California Youth Conservatory’s production of Billy Elliot, and has trained and brought students to the Youth America Grand Prix.
